作品創作理念：

中國戲曲舞台裝置的背景，通常使用黑幕，原因在於舞台上人物之裝扮與道具通常呈現出華麗鮮豔之色彩，黑幕的作用在於突顯舞台人物與道具的表現。

  「在舞臺上不會老系列---對鏡」使用深黑色底襯托主要畫中人物用意在此，而我從小到大演出時所帶過的頭飾也在此畫作中盡情地表現出來，畫中人物也像是站在後台的大黑幕邊，對著鏡子揣摩劇中人物。

The backdrop in a traditional Chinese opera is usually black to accentuate the rich and vibrant colors of the characters’ outfits and the stage plots. The purpose of using a deep-colored background in this work is similar to such a concept. The character in the picture is standing near a black backdrop in the backstage trying to portray a stage character before a mirror.
